Who we are
Please find our contact information on our Contact page.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Any personal data we collect from site visitors is what the visitor chooses to share by filling out the pledge form. We use your data to update our scrolling banner of foundations that have pledged. We also use the data you use in the pledge form to pull your foundation’s asset information from the Government of Canada’s website, in order to track how much money will be going towards this campaign.
Cookies
If you leave your information on our site through the pledge form you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These cookies will last for one year.
Embedded content from other websites
Pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your data with
We do not share your data with anyone. Our website administrators are the only ones who access the information you share with your pledge.
How long we retain your data
If you pledge, that information is retained until we no longer have a need to hold onto this information.
What rights you have over your data
You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Additional information
What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data
We will be manually adding foundation names to our scrolling banner advertisement at the top of our website. If you would like to remain anonymous, please contact us and we will remove your name from the list.
